Hill and the Wieliczka Mine.
Our tour of the Old Town, included on the UNESCO World Heritage List.
Then we will go to the Wawel Hill, over which tower the Royal Palace with its impressive arcaded Renaissance courtyard and the famous Gothic cathedral - the place of coronation and the necropolis of Polish kings. After visiting the Cathedral and the Royal Chambers with a great hall called "Poselska" (The Envoy Hall), whose ceiling with 30 carved human heads and an impressive collection of tapestries woven in Brussels will make you astonished, we will go to the oldest university college - the Collegium Maius, with a beautiful Gothic courtyard, to finish the tour in the heart of Kraków - the Main Market Square - the largest medieval square in Europe with St. Mary's Church - a soaring, Gothic church inside which you can admire the impressive altar by Wit Stwosz (Veit Stoss).

Going down into the salt mine you may have the impression of entering a magical underground city, full of mysterious caves, amazing underground lakes, majestic designs and unique salt carvings. The tourist route in the Salt Mine, included on the UNESCO World Heritage List in 1978, is almost 3 km long and consist of winding corridors, 800 steps and a descend to a depth of 135 metres underground. Going down deeper and deeper, the visitors will see unusual places, take pleasure in watching the light spectacle on the banks of one of the saline lakes, and learn the famous legend of Princess Kinga, who brought a wealth of salt into the Polish soil. In the middle of the route there is St. Kinga's Chapel, a wonderful chapel dedicated to the patron saint of salt miners, decorated with extraordinary salt artworks.
After the tour departing to the hotel.
Next day we will visit one of the most beautiful cities- Wroclaw.
The tour is made up of two parts. The first one includes a 4-hour walking tour of the main attractions of the Old Town and Cathedral Island following the itinerary of our Wrocław City Walk.
In the second part of the tour you have an opportunity to view Wroclaw's most visited site - the historic Panorama of the Battle of Raclawice. It is an impressive 120m-long painting that depicts the legendary victory of Polish troops over the Russian army in 1794 in an attempt to defend Poland’s independence. As a matter of fact Wroclaw's panorama is one of the last remaining murals of this kind in the world.
Afterwards your guide drives you around the streets of Wroclaw to show a well-preserved residential district of the early 1900's with a number of decorated four-storey tenements. Such elegant housing districts were dominant in the city scape of Wroclaw before destruction in World War Two. A reminiscent of the tragic fate of the city under siege of 1945 is found at Grunwaldzki Square, once densely populated only to be cleared of dozens of buildings and turned into a military airfield by the Nazis. Nowadays this area has been re-developed for residential and business purposes.
The final stop on your tour is the Centennial Hall (Hala Stulecia), a pioneering achievement of modernist architecture dating back to 1913 and recently inscribed on the UNESCO World Heritage List. The surrounding area features Wroclaw's biggest public park with the Japanese and Zoological Gardens. In a picturesque setting and relaxing atmosphere you watch an impressive show of water and music at Poland's largest fountain. Afterwards your guide drives you back to the city centre where the tour comes to an end.
